Novotech offers a technology for producing nano spinel and nanocarbon powders for use as additives in refractory products.
The use of Novotech’s composite materials in the production of refractories will:
- Nanostructured coating of graphite particles with aluminum-magnesium spinel allows to protect graphite by forming refractory spinel phases in the refractory structure and to ensure the production of a finely dispersed porous ceramic structure that prevents slag penetration and prevents the formation of thermal cracks.
- Provides the formation of a ceramic bond between grains (MgO) and the presence of spinel nanophases on their surface.
- Compatible with organic binders. Allows to reduce water consumption in refractory concrete.
- Safe for storage.
- Provides high economic efficiency due to low cost and improved performance properties of the final product.
